Lisa Ann Walter (born August 3, 1963) is an American actress, comedian, writer, and producer.Ann Walter was born in Silver Spring, Maryland, to an Italian-American family—her father was a geophysicist for the U.S. government, her mother a teacher. She grew up in suburban Washington, D.C., with a younger brother. As of 2026, she is 63 years old (Leo).
She attended Montgomery College and later transferred to Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., where she earned a degree in drama in 1985. While in college, she began doing stand-up comedy in D.C. clubs, honing the quick-witted, no-nonsense style that would define her career.
