Kira Kosarin made her television debut in 2012 with a guest role as Raina Kumar on the Disney Channel series Shake It Up. She then moved to Los Angeles and began auditioning actively.
In 2013, at age 14–15, she was cast as Phoebe Thunderman in the Nickelodeon sitcom The Thundermans. The series ran for four seasons (2013–2018) and became a major success for the network. She appeared in over 100 episodes and earned multiple Kids’ Choice Award nominations for Favorite TV Actress / Favorite Female TV Star. The show itself won Favorite TV Show at the 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards.
After The Thundermans, she starred in the Nickelodeon TV movie One Crazy Cruise (2015) and appeared in the Hulu series Light as a Feather (2019). She also provided vocals for the film Saige Paints the Sky and made guest appearances on other Nickelodeon shows.
She launched a music career, releasing independent singles and her debut album Off Brand in 2019. In 2022 she signed with Republic Records and released the single “Mood Ring.”
