Seol In-ah made her acting debut in 2015 with a minor role in The Producers. She gained early attention with supporting roles in Strong Girl Bong-soon (2017) and School 2017 (2017). She also worked as a host on MBC’s Section TV.

Her first leading role came in the daily drama Sunny Again Tomorrow (2018), which earned her the Best New Actress award at the KBS Drama Awards. She followed with the lead in Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life (2019–2020).
