Career
Pearce began performing as a teenager and gained early experience at Dollywood. After moving to Nashville, she worked various jobs while writing songs and seeking a record deal. She signed a publishing deal and eventually broke through in 2017 with the self-penned single “Every Little Thing,” which became a major hit and reached No. 1 on the country charts. Her debut album of the same name followed.
She continued building momentum with subsequent releases. Her 2021 project 29: Written in Stone (expanded from an earlier EP) featured deeply personal songs about heartbreak and growth and produced hits including “Next Girl” and the duet “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” with Ashley McBryde. The latter earned her a Grammy Award.
In 2024 she released the album Hummingbird, which included the successful collaboration “we don’t fight anymore” with Chris Stapleton.
