Park made her acting debut in the early 1990s, appearing in dramas such as Eyes of Dawn (1991) and building her profile through the 1990s with roles in series including Heo Jun (as Lady Gongbin Kim) and Ladies of the Palace (2001).
After marrying in 2001, she stepped back from acting for several years to focus on family life, occasionally appearing in commercials and co-hosting the variety show Yeo Yoo Man Man (2003–2005). She returned to the screen in 2010 with the film Man of Vendetta and the family drama Believe in Love (2011).
