Career

Love started making visual novels and small games while in university, including entries for NaNoRenO. She also wrote traditional fiction that saw limited commercial success. Her breakthrough came with the free release of Digital: A Love Story in 2010, a visual novel set in a simulated 1980s bulletin-board system that mixed romance and mystery. The game received critical attention and established her reputation.

In 2011 she contributed to Love and Order (a dating simulation) and released her own don’t take it personally, babe, it just ain’t your story. Her first major commercial project as primary developer was Analogue: A Hate Story (2012), a science-fiction visual novel involving AI, historical archives, and themes of gender and society; an expansion, Hate Plus, followed in 2013. She founded or co-founded Love Conquers All Games around this period.

In 2016 she released Ladykiller in a Bind, an erotic comedy visual novel that won the Independent Games Festival award for Excellence in Narrative. Her 2021 title Get in the Car, Loser! marked a shift to a road-trip RPG with combat elements, her first major non-visual-novel game. In 2025 she self-published her first novel, Star Sword Nemesis. She continues working on narrative games and has appeared at events such as the Game Developers Conference.
